Converse = Love

If you have ever met me or spoken to me for more than an hour, you may have heard about my love for the converse shoe. I loved wearing them as a kid.
When they came back into mass consumption a few years ago, I never imagined my love would turn into obsession. I own maybe 20 or more pairs of converse shoes. I have classic low tops in pink, black, hippie "peace and love", diva rocker, etc. I love my hi-tops in pink, mint green, white, red, and even a gold leather pair that my good friend Julietta passed on to me. I even own extra high tops in electric blue with glitter and black with a fun pattern when you fold them down.
But my favorite so far have been my super knee high converse boots. They have seen so much in the few months I've had them (concerts, birthdays, photo shoots,music gigs, etc. They are my equivalent to the trusty little black dress or the sexy pump. They give me the necessary confidence to take on anything.
Today I received my newest pair of converse( 2nd new pair in a week). This brought me to the famous conversation I have with anyone who ever brings up the topic of marriage. Unlike most girls who fantasize about what their wedding dress will look like, I dream about the shoes I will wear on my walk down the aisle. I want to wear converse under my wedding dress. Why spend a super long day in high heels that hurt so much your thinking about your aching feet when you should be enjoying the most beautiful day of your life.
I also want whoever I marry to wear converse too. I have never taken the thought of wearing converse footwear further than the bride and the groom. This evening I found pictures of a couple that had their entire wedding party + the guests wear converse.
Here are the pictures and blog. This is too cute.
